Cooking With Collagen

While our marine collagen products are perfect to add into a glass of water or juice, here are two delicious and fun recipes featuring our marine collagen powder to try at home!

Tropical Collagen Gummies

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups mango, diced (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tin coconut milk, full fat
  • 3 tbsp. gelatin powder
  • 4 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
  • 1 scoop or sachet of ANC marine collagen powder, unflavoured

Method:

  1. Blend the mango, coconut milk and honey in a blender until fully smooth
  2. Add the mango mixture to a saucepan and heat until it reaches a light simmer
  3. Turn off the heat and whisk in the gelatin until fully dissolved, then do the same with the marine collagen powder
  4. Pour the mixture into moulds and refrigerate for 2 hours or until fully set. Enjoy!

PB & Chocolate Collagen Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp. cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp. natural peanut butter, smooth
  • 1 scoop or sachet of ANC marine collagen powder, unflavoured
  • Toppings: sliced banana, granola, cacao nibs and any others of your choice

Method:

  1. Add the frozen banana, milk, dates, cacao powder, peanut butter & collagen powder to a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and top with the sliced banana, granola, cacao nibs and any other toppings you like. Enjoy!
